My wife was given a copy of this print when she was growing up. Some of you may recognize it as one of the murals in the Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Idaho Falls. Since we were married there, and wanted to keep a little bit of the Temple in our home, I tried to fix the image so I could hang one in my home. I did this all in Adobe Photoshop.

The original had these scratches and tears near the edge.

The first job was to clean those up. I used the rubber stamp and simple lasso copy and paste to get this far.

Then, with the repairs made, I needed to recolor the artwork, to make the hues more vibrant. Here’s the end result:
