My wife, owner of Rexburg Cakes:, made this cake back in July for our son’s birthday. When I saw it, I knew I wanted to do this video. However, I didn’t have a good camera on me, and I knew my schedule was going to get busy. So I recorded a few takes of the cake in the refrigerator and let it sit on my computer for three months. When I finally got a free minute, I added the motion graphics, recorded the audio and visual effects.

A walkthrough on how I did it will be coming shortly. Here’s a hint, it involved the “free transform” technique for Adobe After Effects taught by Mikey Borup here on his YouTube channel.
